This place is an awesome stop to stretch your legs and take in a little bit of gas station memorabilia. Johnny greeted us and pointed us in the direction to explore. I'm a graphic designer so this gem of a place was a visual treat! My husband couldn't get enough. Every corner he turned there was something new to look at. Before our departing Johnny recommended we try a green Chile brisket burrito from Sugars. I'll come back to the Gas museum when we are in the area again!
Not sure when the place is supposed to be open, but we parked at a pump and walked around on our own. Never saw anyone. What a fun collection of stuff.
Closed when we stopped by but got some great pics of the eclectic gas pumps out front.
This place is a must stop, watch and buy. I love antiques and visiting this place really made me wish to want to buy everything here. The dude that owns the property is pretty chill also.
A very interesting museum, you can visit free of charge. Large collection of gas station signs, pumps, gas station neon signs. You can buy any of the vintage toys and nick nacks avaialble. I was surprised how reasonable the prices were for some of the items. Highly recommended for any photographer to practice their skills. The owner is a wonderful guy and very personable. If you are traveling to Taos, I would highly recommend stopping by and checking it out.
